What How’s My Store can do for your store

WooCommerce and Shopify stores are read through their catalogue and can have fixes published back. Any other store is read from its product pages, and its fixes are exported for you to apply.

Audit	Every published product, read through WooCommerce’s public Store API, plus a sample of product pages for what only the page shows (structured data, meta tags).
Fix	Descriptions, short descriptions, titles, image alt text and meta descriptions — written with your own AI key, each one reviewed by you.
Publish	Yes — accepted fixes are written to your store, with every previous value kept so a batch can be undone.
Connect	Enter your store’s address. To publish, approve access on WooCommerce’s own screen, or paste a REST API key with Read/Write permission.

Meta descriptions live in an SEO plugin: we can write them with Yoast SEO or Rank Math installed, and say so plainly when neither is.
A read-only REST key is refused when you save it, not after you’ve generated fixes.

Fix	Descriptions, titles, image alt text and meta descriptions — written with your own AI key, each one reviewed by you.
Publish	Yes — accepted fixes are written through Shopify’s Admin API, with every previous value kept so a batch can be undone.
Connect	Enter your store’s address. To publish, create a custom app in your Shopify admin with the write_products scope (and write_files for alt text) and paste its Admin API access token.

Shopify products have no short description field, so there’s nothing to write there.
Alt text needs the write_files scope on your custom app.

Audit	The product pages listed in your sitemap — up to 300 of them — read the way a visitor or search engine would. We show how many we found and how many we read.
Fix	Descriptions, titles, image alt text and meta descriptions, from what each product page shows — written with your own AI key, each one reviewed by you.
Publish	Export only. We can’t write to a custom store: accepted fixes download as CSV or JSON for whoever maintains your site.
Connect	Enter your store’s address and choose “Another platform”. There’s nothing to install and no key to create.

Only pages your sitemap lists are found, and at most 300 are read.
